Buckle up, folks — "Squid Game: The Challenge," the riotous and unfairly good reality competition series based on Netflix's "Squid Game," has been greenlit for a second season.
And if you're willing to put your dignity and reputation on the line for a chance at the show's massive prize pool, now's your opportunity to audition for the next round of the game.
"Squid Game: The Challenge" premiered in November with essentially the same premise as the Korean-language series from creator Hwang Dong-hyuk. Clad in the franchise's signature green jumpsuits, 456 contestants compete in a series of challenges like "red light, green light" or cutting a shape out of dalgona candy for a prize pool of $4.56 million.
Obviously, unlike the actual "Squid Game," which has also been renewed for a second season, contestants aren't killed when they're eliminated.

Frankly, being on the series seems like hell, whether it's from the actual physical rigor of the challenges or the psychological toll of living in a dorm with a slowly dwindling pool of peers for days on end. It's an environment that some contestants called a "warzone," though Netflix denied there being any serious injuries on set.

But if you want to put yourself to the test and charm (or betray) your way to the prize money, here's how you can throw yourself into the ring.
How to apply for 'Squid Game: The Challenge' season 2
The same day that Netflix announced the show's renewal, it also opened up the recruitment process for season two cast members.
Interested parties can head over to the website SquidGameCasting.com and proceed through the United States, United Kingdom, or global (not US or UK) casting link that applies to you.

Once you select your region, you'll be redirected to the actual application page.
The application requirements are basically the same for each region. You need to be at least 21 years old, have a valid passport, and be able to take part in shooting the show for up to four weeks (though the application states that "this may change without notice").
After filling in some demographic information, you'll need to record a one-minute video introducing yourself. This is your chance to talk about how you would play the game (will you eliminate another player at the first chance you get, or decide to take one for the team?) and what you'd do with the prize money.
And, oh boy, is it a lot of money — if you want to tune into the season finale to see who takes home the season one prize, you can watch it on Netflix on Wednesday at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT.
